With a completely redesigned front end and many new features, the new Miele Professional offers commercial customers a quick overview of the versatile B2B portfolio of the traditional German manufacturer. Together with Miele, we are continuously developing the digital platform and have been keeping it at best practice level for many years.

CENTRAL B2B TOUCHPOINT

The professional area on miele.de is the central digital touchpoint for Miele's B2B portfolio.

A wide range of products and solutions for industries such as hospitality, care, laboratories and medicine are presented here and accompanied by marketing campaigns and new products, promotions, news and events.

As a premium supplier, Miele also places particular emphasis on service before and after the purchase of its professional appliances. In addition to product information, the B2B portal therefore offers commercial customers planning and advice on entire projects such as setting up their own laundry or - most recently - equipping schools, nurseries, offices, restaurants, surgeries and homes with high-quality air cleaning technology.

Instructions for use and software downloads, spare parts and accessories, repair and maintenance offers round off the range and also represent an important channel for professional customers in after-sales.

FUNCTION THROUGH INTEGRATION

Comprehensive product portfolios pose particular challenges for user guidance. Navigation and search must be ergonomic and self-explanatory. But even if relevant products and services can be found quickly, further user guidance is particularly important with a broad product range.

For example, the function for remembering and comparing products, which has been tried and tested since 2014, has been further developed. The option to create an individual PDF download of all products that have been bookmarked, including detailed product details, is also a popular feature for customers and in-house sales professionals, which can continue to be used after the relaunch without any problems thanks to the structured connection of complex product data... the architecture of the digital platform, which is geared towards continuous further development and the integration of a large number of backend systems, has proven its worth here.

Thanks to a component-based front end and the use of the latest frameworks, Miele can react quickly to changing requirements and benefits from the latest web standards and fast loading times.

WELL-REHEARSED TEAMWORK - FOR ALMOST A DECADE!

Our Intentive colleagues have been working with Miele's internal contacts since 2012. Both the concept and implementation are developed continuously and agilely in close coordination and are constantly being improved. This means that we have been working with the customer on continuous development for many years, before the term was even invented.

In addition to innovative features such as product comparison and brochure downloads in print quality, integration concepts that work in the long term and state-of-the-art front-ends, there is also a strategic aspect of a long-term partnership that is not neglected: having fun working together :-)!
