Backend Developer (m/f/d)

API-based backends for digital platforms (junior, professional or senior)

YOUR MISSION

  • You develop, test and deploy customer-specific backend applications and services for our customers' digital platforms.

  • You model REST- and GraphQL-based APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, mostly in container-based infrastructures with Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Together with your colleagues, you will analyze existing third-party systems such as PIM, DAM, CRM or HRM, work out suitable integration scenarios in the existing web landscape and develop the necessary components.

  • If requirements are unclear or information is missing, you will find ways to get a complete picture in dialog with your team or the customer.

  • You like clean code and high-quality software

  • You and your team take responsibility for the software you have built and continuously develop it further: "You build it, you run it."

YOUR SKILLS

  • You have a degree in computer science, are an IT specialist or have comparable practical experience

  • You are familiar with backend technologies such as Java Spring Framework, .NET Core, REST- or GraphQL-based APIs.

  • A plus, not a must: initial experience with middleware-based architectures or microservices.

  • You are not afraid of occasional contact with basic web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JSON and JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • You can handle build and CI/CD tools such as Git or Jenkins.

  • You are fluent in German and can easily cope with English-language projects.

YOUR TEAM

In our agile development team, you will realize projects that you are proud of together because they help our customers achieve their goals. You will work with your colleagues on the backend of various web platforms for international companies. To meet the requirements of our customers, you will also implement individual extensions and integrations or develop new high-performance components.

Sparring and workshops will keep you "up to date" and your team will be particularly happy when you share your ideas and tech impulses. In addition to friendly people and great projects, we offer a professional and hybrid working environment. You can exchange ideas on new technologies and proven best practices at daily coffee bar discussions, developer roundtables or our regular Tooltime meeting.

You work where you feel most productive and creative: at our locations in Mönchengladbach (D), Düsseldorf (D), Duisburg (D), Dresden (D), Aarau (CH), completely remotely, in a mobile office or a mix of these - it's up to you!
